European release date announced for the much awaited game

| Final Fantasy fans will be eagerly awaiting the next addition to the series of games and although a further wait is in store, a European release date of 9th March 2010 has been confirmed for Final Fantasy XIII. The game will be available on both Xbox 360 and PS3 and various members of previous Final Fantasy teams will join together to help produce this title, which is already promising to be incredible. Also confirmed is the theme song, which will be 'My Hands'. The single features on singer/songwriter Leona Lewis' new album, due for release on 16th November. During the last two decades the Final Fantasy series has continued to improve and provide ever more compelling gameplay. Over 85 million games have been shipped worldwide since the original title was launched.
